Wrap It Up

I really wanted to go ice-skating with these polar bears but sadly the authorities had other ideas.

Dear reader,

This is way, way late... I'm not even IN London anymore! But there are still so many nice pictures I want to share with you so I'll post these anyway and then I will add another post soon about my super-secret new location (a little tip: it's in Italy).

So, our last days in London were fabulous just like the whole month had been. But in addition there were pretty lights everywhere now! This city just gets better and better.

My third-favorite museum (after the Science and the Childhood one): the Natural History Museum with pretty lights.

We even went to a park that was full of lights and had music playing and all kinds of Christmassy loveliness.

The lights were so beautiful!
All of us in a waterfall of light. I could have happily stayed there for hours.

And we spent a day in a town called Greenwich where we went to by boat! That was great fun.

Catering and me on the fast boat to Greenwich. (Actually that was the slow boat supposedly because it stopped in a bunch of places but it went pretty fast for me!)
What a view!

The museum we went to in Greenwich was all about boats too but much larger ones than the one we took to get there. They had an excellent kids' section too where I learned to fix planks, shuffle coal and cook for a whole crew. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

How did they get that boat in there? And that giant bottle up on the block???
Let me show you how this is done. FULL STEAM AHEAD!
Today's special is soup. Take it or leave it.
There's just no pride in good workmanship anymore these days. Let me fix this...

But then the weather turned colder and it was time for us to pack up and leave again.

It was absolutely FREEZING when we did this but I insisted that it had to be THAT day and the authorities insisted that it had to be OUTSIDE so fine. Let's all freeze together. (There was lots of grumbling about colors and white carpets. I don't know what the big deal would have been to do it at home...)

Farewell London, you've been a treat! Can't wait to be back. (Hint, hint...)

Last morning in London. We went up to the SkyGarden, literally a garden in a skyscraper on top of the city. Interesting concept but it could do with some heating.

I promise I'll try and be quicker about the next post. Even though now there's so much going on what with all the family around and Christmas coming up, I don't know where I'll find the time!

Buona notte carissimi,
SmallPaw
