The authorities really hit this one out of the park. I hope we do more boat traveling in the future.
Ahoy dear reader!
You'll be surprised to hear that the authorities have finally started to follow my lead and are taking things a bit slower. In fact, they took my motto, "life's a journey, not a destination", to the extreme: we went to New York by boat! And not just any boat, it was a HUGE BOAT! I know this because there were lots of other boats when we left and none was as big as ours. Also, it took forever to get from one end (where we stayed) to the other (where the food was), especially when transportation refused to carry me. But what a wonderful idea indeed to go on the water instead of flying over it.
Alright, let's roll. We're all relaxed and ready.Bye bye England. You were lovely, I'll be back. Uhm, and where's my bubbly? Hello?I think tonight I'll wear the gold and maybe the anklet.I'm so glad transportation and I share the same taste in iPad games.By far my favorite spot on the boat. I would remind the authorities several times daily that the dogs needed to be visited ("wau wau").In traditional sailor garb. One afternoon it was rainy and cold and the play room was closed already so we played here instead. Great fun those chairs. There were some interesting lectures on board. But I always brought my iPad, just in case the speaker turned out to be boring.Breakfast was awesome. Actually all meals were. I got blueberries and watermelon every single day. Heaven.Once again I have to show the authorities the correct way to pack a suitcase. They never learn. That's New York? I thought it would be bigger. But okay, looks nice enough.Too much? Or just right for this town?I don't know why everyone gripes about the small sizes in New York. This is HUGE compared to Wimbledon!
Of course I'm going to keep you updated about my shenanigans here. We've already gone to lots of different parks and playgrounds and yesterday afternoon we went to heaven. (Catering insisted on calling it F.A.O Schwarz but that doesn't sound right for a place so wonderful.)
Can't wait to see what else this city holds in store for me!
