Yes, he's really taking the plunge and signed up for a German course. We chose Berlin because we both don't know it very well and everyone who's been here loves it, so naturally we have to find out what all the fuss is about.

We've only been here two days but already did plenty of walking in our neighbourhood - Scheunenviertel in Berlin Mitte - went up the Fernsehturm (the TV tower) to get a perfect 360 view of the city, walked under the Brandenburger Tor, across the Potsdamer Platz and had a lovely afternoon in the Tiergarten with a couple of beers.

That's us, or at least I think so...
