Das Amplemännchen, the 'don't walk' sign of east Berlin

Classes have started, the good weather has given way to a few showers and we're starting to get into a routine here in Berlin. Which doesn't mean we're not tourists anymore. Thanks to our friends Henri and Kalle we got to go on a riverboat tour through the city which albeit smelly (from the river) was a fun way to spend an hour and see the city from a different angle.

Not as impressive as the dome in Firenze, I have to admit...
There's a lot of history there, old and new.
