Encore Provence

In Gordes, one of the prettiest towns in Provence. (Stiff competition!)

Even though we're back in Barcelona now, there are a few more pictures we'd like to share from our trip to Provence last week. And since there isn't much to say about our stay here 'at home' besides work, some good food and going to the movies we'll re-live some of the lovely days we spent in the south of France fattening ourselves up and enjoying the beautiful countryside instead.

The shutters and doors in Provence make you want to take pictures of every other house. Of course we didn't do that. Not really.. Maybe just every third house.
Sometimes the houses just beg to be photographed.
Sénanque abbey, slightly less impressive this time of year without the lavender in bloom
Okay, okay, now give me pensive... Great, great, now go for moody and thoughtful. YES!
Apparently French people leave ceramic flowers and little 'souvenirs' plates on graves instead of real flowers. Makes for some very colorful arrangements.
If you've seen the movie 'A Good Year' with Russell Crowe you'll recognize this café.
The ochre cliffs of Roussillon
Walking through the ochre 'mines' which is really just a bit of park that they've fenced off to charge entry fees. Still, cool to see and a nice walk.
Cool & the gang enjoying the sunset
