Climbing lessons can never start too early.

Ahem, I hear that someone has been bad-mouthing me on my own blog. And while I don't want to name names, your cuddling privileges have been revoked for the next hour Catering. Hmph.

Now, with that out of the way: happy Christmas everyone! I hope the man in the big red suit brought you lots of fun things and if you ate at least half as much as I did then you had a very good Christmas indeed.

We were invited to the house of some Spanish friends on Christmas eve and there was lots and lots of stuff to eat from the sea: smoked salmon, seared shrimp, fish baked in salt, salmon caviar and something called 'hildas' which was basically everything good on a toothpick like pickles, olives, onions and sardines. These Spaniards really know what they're doing in the kitchen. For those who didn't like fish there was also foie gras paté and lots and lots of liquid stuff with bubbles in it. Catering seemed to enjoy that part particularly but I wasn't invited to try it. Typical.

I got some very nice presents too. Not sure yet who this Santa Claus guy is but if he brings presents then he must be a friend. He brought me a little bear family with some furniture and some boats for the bath. How did he know I would like that?! It's a mystery...

This place is really lovely what with the playground and the beach and the pool. I'm going to have a word with the authorities that we should stay a little longer.

All this sand, just for me!
Okay, so first kick the ball and THEN run after it... Let's see if this works.
Whoa, it's WET! This is crazy.
I didn't actually go here. But Catering went and brought back this pretty picture.
Shops open. You wanna buy some wood chips? I give you a good price.
And with almost nothing to spare in her oxygen tank, the first baby to climb Mt. Everest makes it to the very top of the mountain with a victorious fist pump!
Lots of art on walls.
What are you doing on the floor with the camera?
Just me and my home girl, hanging at the park.
On the big kids side of the park. MADE IT!

Keep your fingers crossed that I can convince the authorities to stay a bit longer. I'll let you know how it goes!

Sunny kisses,
Small Paw
