Here is a video of the biggest Japanese crossing, made famous by the movie Lost in Translation. Thanks to the movie tourists now flock to the crossing to take pictures from Starbucks and a video as they cross. I assume that is what the guy running in and jumping at the beginning of the video is doing. They say the Starbucks is one of the most profitable Starbucks’ in the world, due to all the tourist traffic.
Unlike the Hanoi crossing it’s all very much organized; None of that cars, motorbikes, tourist and trucks all at the same time.
