Actually the title of this post should probably be Summer in New York instead because it was absolutely gorgeous outside today. Sunshine, blue skies, temperatures in the high 70s (around 27C)… Definitely not what we expected here in October.
We went to Central Park with Mauricio and Andrea for a bike ride. Of course the rest of New York had the same idea and there was a huge line to rent bikes but for some reason we got VIP treatment (probably because we spoke Spanish with the guy) and he offered to let us jump the cue if we would take a tandem instead of two bikes. Hell yeah!
We did a tour of the park up to 110th St and back and then went down to the Hudson and rode along the river and the park they’ve built all along the waterfront. (Obviously, the pictures in this post are ‘guest curated’. Thanks Mo!)
